| Character: Gino Weinberg. Series/Fandom: Code Geass R2. Original or Alternate: Original. Age: Seventeen. Gender: Male~ Species: Human. Sexuality: Presumably bisexual. Maybe even pansexual. He's attracted to everything. Notable Possessions: The USB stick that serves as a key for his Knightmare Frame, Tristan - even if it is useless in Econtra, he keeps with him always. Housing: Vri-Tesserra. Roommates: None! He's all~ alone~~ :c Appearance: Hair is sunshine-blonde and might have some kind of a spastic mullet-esque thing going on there. Where the long part in the back should be, he has three little braids. Eyes are blue, distinctly European. Skin is white, somewhat tan. Face is... angular, cheekbones are high. Extremely tall at holycrap six-foot-seven and upwards of two hundred pounds in pure muscle. Broad shoulders and chest, more narrow in the hip area. Very long limbs, especially in the legs. Really, nothing about Gino isn't big and long. And I am so sorry for that mental image (only I'm actually not). He's normally found wearing white, blue, or green. Military uniform is white with gold adornments, a long, green cape, black knee-high boots, and forearm-length black gloves. Casual outfit is a blue vest with red trim and a white undershirt, ruffles running down the front, black shorts, sandals, and a pair of stylish orange shades. |
Personality: Constantly upbeat, cheerful, and friendly. When he meets someone he wants to get to know, there's no stopping him, as any rejection is just water off a duck's back to him (and he does get rejected a lot; he's quite touchy-feely). Gino would never hesitate to help someone out if they needed it, and will normally go along with what he's asked to do so long as he isn't being pushed around or put intentionally in danger. Loves challenges and competition, endurance and stamina contests, showing off on occasion, eating, hugs, trying out new things, and generally having a good time. He has a tendency to keep negative emotions masked and thusfar there isn't much of a crack in his mask as far as this is concerned. Though he has allowed himself to look angry on the occasion; sometimes he can't help it when he's busy being chivalrous for the ladies. But not to worry - his energy and boundless and he lives to show everyone a good time! Work ethic is notable; for someone so breezy and fun-loving, he has a strong sense of duty and doesn't seem to question his orders much. He's confident and eager to take difficult positions when the opportunity arises. Also surprisingly intelligent, he somehow juggles military, knightly responsibilities, social networking, and homework with plenty of time to spare for visiting the newest festival in town. Also worth mentioning is that he can be a bit naive and... well, dense, at times. Having been raised in a wealthy family of essentially royal upbringing, he sometimes has no idea how the real world works - but is willing to learn! ...Mostly through trial-and-error. His observations often contain remarks such as, "Is this how commoners do it? Cool!" and, "Commoner life is SO awesome, man." |

| Strengths: Physically: Exceptional Knightmare Frame piloting skills (Knightmare Frames are essentially Gundam mechas) landed him a position as the Third Knight of Rounds (Royalty's personal guard, essentially - there are twelve of them) at a young age. Also quite athletic and hardy. Exceptional stamina, brute force, and let's not neglect to mention the height advantages. Emotionally: Willingness to participate and learn, perseverant, not easily deterred. Does not let words get to him. Confident - but not overly or unduly so. Able to put up a convincing strong front when necessary. Chivalrous. Capable. Just the sort of person that it's impossible to dislike, he seems to be able to work with just about any person and bring a smile to anyone's face. Weaknesses: Physically: Not much. He has the drive and ability to win, but he knows when enough is enough. Outside of his Knightmare Frame, he's just as invincible. Anyone stupid enough to pick a fight with a guy that big and tall probably won't know what to do should Gino decide to actually fight back. He does have a rather sensitive tailbone, though. Emotionally: Pretty women and generally lonesome people, perhaps. Good food - especially mustard hot dogs. Doesn't like to see people crying. He seems to recoil a little when all odds are stacked against him (like pounding into his head that nobody likes him for example). Not much of a liar. And then there's the whole... being quite blonde thing. |
Gino comes from a very rich family of noble descent (the son of a Duke, I think it was?) and spent the majority of his life living the luxurious life in his manor. Somewhere along the line, he began practice-piloting Knightmare Frames, most likely religiously as his skill became so advanced that he was recruited to become a Knight of Rounds while still fairly young. He makes fast friends with two other Knights - Kururugi Suzaku, the Knight of Seven, and Anya Alstreim, the Knight of Six. Though, unfortunately, Suzaku is preoccupied with other things and is thus uninterested him, and Anya is blank and too busy writing in her digital diary or taking pictures of things, and thus is uninterested in much of anything, including him, leaving Gino with no actual friends. He doesn't seem to mind, though. He is impressed when Kallen Kozuki defeats both he and Anya in battle with her Guren Knightmare Frame, becoming rather enamored with her and her piloting skills. He remarks that she, too, could be a Knight of Rounds. However, he comes to be disappointed when she is captured and taken hostage, negating any chance of them having a rematch any time soon. Lastly, he became a student at Ashford Academy (the high-class high school that the main character, Lelouch, and Suzaku also attend) along with Anya in order to find out what it would be like to lead a "commoner" life and go to a "commoner"'s school. Naturally he finds it quite awesome and is totally on top of his assignments as it is. Along with basically every other noteworthy character that attends Ashford in this series, he and Anya are on the Student Council. |
